We in Takilma are sad to announce that Hunter Jones has stepped down as lead guitarist for the band effective immediately. We wish Hunter all the best going forward.
As you all know Takilma is a very guitar based band and with the unexpected loss our lead guitar player the band has been forced to cancel the remaining dates we had booked for 2023.
Mike, BK, Big Nate & Cameron remain steadfast and will take the fall to audition a new lead guitar player as well as add a few friends in Robin Plunk on Keys & Joe Hatch on percussion to round out the bands sound. Expect new music with a all new Takilma line up for 2024 with show dates to follow.
As such Takilma is looking for a tasteful lead guitar player and one that is willing to gig regularly. Anyone interested in an audition should email a link of a song or video featuring their playing to:
